Transferring your domain registration

Transfer your domain from TherapySites

If you are moving your domain from TherapySites, you can transfer the domain to your own account on a domain registrar, or to Therapy Everywhere’s domain registration.

The first step is to contact the TherapySites Support Team and request that they release your domain name. You can start this process via phone, email, or through the contact form on the TherapySites website.

Once you get in touch with TherapySites, the process is fairly straightforward. (As part of the process, they will charge a $15 fee for release of your domain name.)

  1. They will send you a cancellation/release form. Fill out this form and return it to TherapySites. 
  2. You will get an email asking you for verification. Follow the instructions in this email to accept ownership.
  3. They will either send you an “authorization code” that can be used to move registration of the account. Or, they will send you an email with the name of a domain registrar and login credentials for that domain registrar..

Transfer your domain from Brighter Vision

Send an email to support@brightervision.com asking to have your domain name released to you so that you can transfer it to another registrar. In this email, please include your domain name.

Once received, Brighter Vision will

e the necessary steps to initiate the release of your domain name from Brighter Vision’s registrar account.

Shortly after the release has been initiated, Brighter Vision will send you an email with your login username, as well as a password reset link.

The domain registrar will send you an additional email with the transfer authorization code for your domain. 

You can use this information to transfer your domain to your account, or share the information with our team and we will move the domain to our domain registrar.

Transfer your domain from VistaPrint

Log in to your VistaPrint account and follow these steps to prepare your domain for transfer:

Log in to your VistaPrint account

Set your domain privacy settings to public

  • Check your domain’s privacy settings in your VistaPrint account.
  • Disable the privacy option to make your domain public.

If your domain doesn’t have privacy protection enabled, you can skip this step.

Get the transfer code (EPP)

The transfer authorization code (also called an EPP code, authorization code, or transfer code) is required to authorize the domain transfer and ensure security.

  • Request the code from your VistaPrint account.
  • Save the code, as you’ll need it to complete the transfer.

Once these steps are complete, our team can assist you in completing the domain transfer process.
